Massacre version 0.05c
Copyright Johannes Holmberg 1998

I will write some proper documentation when I come back home.

What's new in Massacre 0.05c:
* You can now change the number of bitplanes.

Featurewise you're better off using the old QBasic Massacre.
Speedwise, C Massacre is much better.

The following features are not yet implemented in Massacre 0.05c:
* 16x8 viewing mode.
* Palette editor.

What is implemented:
* 8x8 and 8x16 mode.
* Standard 16 colour VGA palette. Yew!
* Hmmm... That's it :)

To use this program just type "massacre [filename]" at the DOS prompt.

Use the coloured arrows to scroll up and down in the file.
Blue arrows: Move one page up/down.
Green arrows: Scroll on line up/down.
Red arrows: Move one byte up/down.

Click on a tile in the big window and then put it down in the little
window (right mouse button=cancel). Once you've put it down, the cursor
will return to the tile next to the one you chose. The little window
does the same thing (moves you to the right).

Use the mouse to redraw the sprites.
Left mouse button: Draw a pixel.
Right mouse button: Change the current colour to the one under the cursor.
You can also use the palette located above the window to choose colours.

Click the diskette to save or the Exit sign to quit.
Click on the "bitplanes" text to select the number of bitplanes you want.

Massacre 0.05c has no error detection at all meaning that if
something goes wrong your computer is likely to crash.
And if something happens to your computer, I am not responsible :)

*or anything/anyone else too for that matter.

Don't bother with sending me bug reports unless something VERY strange
happens, because it's full of bugs, and I know about them, and I'll
fix them when I come back home, but if you have anything else on your
mind, please send e-mail to bapple@home.se.
