the *BLUE* rom then run "makepok.bat" which will create a new file,
"pokemone.gb" which you shall run to play the translated game.

Now, load up Pocket Monsters in your favorite emu (most likely VGB and see
the note at the bottom) and you should see the title screen within
a few seconds. Press any button to go on. You're ready to start.

2b. The Menu Screen

The Menu Screen is the most important thing in Pocket Monsters. You can use
Items, Save, see your Pokemon Status, and Configure the game.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

4. Which Emu's/Copiers do Pocket Monsters work on?

Compatibility list for emulators as of Dec. 24, 1997:
-----------------------------------------------------

1. VGB 0.8.8: Personally, I'd live without a joystick because I like
GB97's sound more. But if you need/want a joystick, I'd
reccomend VGB because it it flawless.

2. GameBoy97: Also perfect except the joystick makes you do stuff you
don't want to. Set the joystick port to 0 and use JOYEMU.

5. Special Thanks to Those who Made This Possible:
