                           WHAT IS THIS SIMULATOR?
                           -----------------------
It is a program which reproduces the behaviour of an electronic handheld game.

                              WHAT IS SIMULATED
                              -----------------
All features of the original handheld game, except:
1) time/alarm setting mode: not simulated due to lack of interest;
2) demo mode: same as above


                                 HOW TO PLAY
                                 -----------
*Open the game by clicking on the "Open" lid
*Hold "Time" button to view alarm time (set to 12:00 PM)
 Press and release "Time" button to view current time
*Hold "Game A" or "Game B" to view highscores for games A and B
 Press and release "Game A" (easy) or "Game B" (hard) buttons to play
*Instructions:
 - Donkey Kong juggle pineapples while balancing on a barrel.
 - catch the pineapples, but beware of fireballs.
 - Donkey Kong will automatically toss the pineapples he catches.
 - Mario watches his juggling performance
 - lives are lost either if a pineapple falls on the floor or if Donkey Kong
   touches a fireball.
 - Mario laughs at Donkey Kong as he misses.
 - three misses and game ends.
*Score: 1 point for each pineapple Donkey Kong catches and tosses
*At 300 points fanfare sounds and all misses are canceled; if there are NO
 MISSES when 300 points are reached, game goes into "Chance-Time": all points
 are awarded at double value (2 points per pineapple caught) until a miss is
 made
*Highest scores are saved in the System Registry

A) by MOUSE
   Click on the "Open" lid to open the game
   Right-click anywhere to activate the popup menu
   TIME: hold to view alarm time (set to 12:00 PM)
         press to view current time
   GAME A/B: hold to view highscores for games A and B
             press to play game A (easy) or game B (hard)
   ACL: press to reset game
B) by KEYBOARD
   Left arrow  moves Donkey Kong left
   Right arrow moves Donkey Kong right
   Esc         quits program
