===\ How to Use this IPS File /===
				    --------------------------
What you need :

A) SNESTool.exe
this can be obtained from my web site -
		http://www.dragonfire.net/~ac2k/nes/index.htm

If you detest frames, try the noframes version at
		http://www.dragonfire.net/~ac2k/nes/noframes.htm

Just go to the Hacker's Guide utlities section and scroll down to
the bottom of the page, it's there - trust me. Macintosh users :
***please*** note that SNESTool is NOT the program you need [unless
you can run DOS =)], but instead download the other program mentioned
in the descr. for SNESTool at my site's Hacker's Guide.

B) The IPS file included in this zip file and the *.id file

C) a copy of the ROM of the game that was hacked - this is listed in the *.id
file for the hack. If you are having trouble finding the ROM, there is a
list further in this documentation of some EXCELLENT sites to obtain ANY
and ALL the ROMS you could need...

What to do:

1) Use some sort of ASCI viewer (Notepad, Word Perfect, Claris Works, MS
Word, etc.) to view the *.id file included in this zip file. This contains
vital information such as the name of the Hack and the "original game
hacked" that you will need a ROM of for patching the file to. This means
you have to get a copy of the ROM for the "original game hacked". If you
have trouble finding it, use the information provided later in this file
to to find site links that should contain the ROM you are looking for.

2) Place a ROM of the "original game hacked" in the same directory as the
IPS file found in this zip file

3) Make sure the SNESTool.exe file is in the same directory as both the IPS
file and the "original game hacked" ROM.

4) Run the SNESTool.exe file. Double click on it in Windows or just type
   SNESTool in DOS.

5) Choose the option for "Use IPS" and press Enter.

6) At the prompt where it says "Select IPS File, you will be shown a list of
all IPS files in the current directory. Choose the one you wish to use
(if it's in a different subdirectory, just choose that directory by
browsing through the interface) and highlight it and press Enter. This is
when the program ONLY displays IPS files, so it's real easy to find. Once
you have highlighted the file, press Enter.

7) At the prompt to "Select GAME file for IPS patch", highlight the NES file
that you need to apply the IPS patch to. This would be the ROM (.nes
extension) you downloaded for the "original game hacked" mentioned at
   in the hack's *.id file.

8) If all goes well, you will receive a screen confirming that the patch was
applied ok. Otherwise, you will receive some kind of error, in which case
you probably used the IPS file on the wrong ROM/file or I screwed up in
making the IPS file - if this happens, let me know so that I may try again
to make the correct IPS file.

9) Repeat 5-8 and quit the program when you're done!!!

I can assure you that at least ONE of these sites should be available and most of them should
have the ROMs you need. If you have trouble finding Japanese ROMS for various translations, my
Hacked ROM Shop contains a section' that carries most of these hard to find ROMS. But alas many
of them can also be obtained in Vertigo NES packs, which contain many more rarities than just
Japanese games being translated.

				     ==\ Contacting Me /==
				        ---------------

If for any reason you need to contact me, regarding problems with these files or with
the processes described above, I can easily be reached through many methods. I prefer e-mail,
and have many addresses but I ask that you send mail only to my HOTMAIL account, which is why
I will not give my other account addresses here. HOTMAIL is an address I will always have no
matter where I go and is less personal or important. My username is tgst (after Pantera's album
The Great Southern Trendkill) and by now, if you don't know that the domain for HOTMAIL is
hotmail.com, then I'm not sure what I'm going to do with you. That means my e-mail is
tgst@hotmail.com

My ICQ UIN is 1470648 and my pager at wwp.mirabilis.com/1470648. Feel free to page me
anytime but if you are going to send me a message via ICQ, please do so WITHOUT adding me to
your contact list. I have my options set so that my authorization must be given to be added
anyhow, and I will deny requests. When you search for a user by UIN, the screen has a section
for sending that user a message before you do anything such as adding them to your contact list,
and a message is all I need. You can close the Search after the message has been sent. My ICQ
list is big enough as is and the last thing I need to deal with is tons of system messages.
