Ghosts and Goblins:Hardgame

This is a total-game tile edit patch, along with some minor text modification. The
focus of the tile editing is to make this game, often considered the hardest nes game
ever, even harder. One of the first things I noticed when editing levels was that they
were mostly flat and had no pits or floating blocks; I fixed that problem! However, rather
than randomly placing pits, blocks and other nasty traps I have carefully placed them in
places people tend to walk or jump to reflexively. I also intentionally made a few patterns
of modifications for the sole purpose of catching people who are used to looking for cheap
patterns in games and killing them mercilessly.

Trust me; playing the origional Ghosts and Goblins is a snap after playing this! While
it is still beatable, it extremely difficult to do so. Even cheating does not make this
game easy!

I mostly used SnoBro's Ghosts'n Goblins level editor v1.0, since all the major changes
are tile changes. I initially thought about altering the gfx to make fun of all those
devil things that killed me hundreds of times on the nes, but I decided to make this
something of a serious hack.

I mostly changed the ending text to give your compulsive side an excuse to beat the entire
hacked game. I also fixed a few misspellings in the parts of the ending. (This game has
an outrageously inefficient way of storing that ending. That little bit of text is stored
in 750 bytes. That should be able to hold about as much text as 7-8 FULL lines of text,
not a few small lines. All well.)

Have fun!

NOTE: The blue dragons and the red demon that takes Guinevere can only be killed with the
torches. 2 snapshots showing where to stand to make pots containing torches appear are
are included with this zip sincce they are necessary to complete the game.
