                        Theme for TetriNet v1.11
                                1/31/96

What is it?
----------
This is a 'theme' for TetriNet v1.11.
This scheme will NOT work with TetriNET 1.0
You can get version 1.11 at #tetrinet on EFnet IRC

Everything used in this theme was taken from *some* PacMan game!

What do I do with it?
--------------------
Extract this zip file into your TetriNET directory using the -d
option with pkunzip or the "Use Folder Name" option selected in WinZip.
After extracting these files make sure that the folder "pacman" is created.

1. Run TetriNET.
2. Go into Misc. Options.
3. Under TetriNET Graphic/Sound/Music click on the "..." box.
4. Select pacman.tnp
5. Choose one of the 4 MIDI files as background music.

If you decide that you want to restore your original TetriNET sounds and
and block graphics...

1. Run TetriNET.
2. Go into Misc. Options.
3. Under TetriNET Graphic/Sound/Music click on the "..." box.
4. Select default.tmp

Where'd you get all the cool sounds and stuff?
---------------------------------------------
The sounds came from:
http://www4.ncsu.edu/unity/users/m/mvcooley/web/sounds/arcade/arcade.html
http://www4.ncsu.edu/eos/users/m/msstowe/WWW/Pac-Man/Sounds/

I did a bit of editing on a couple of the sounds.

The music came from some old C64 SID tunes that were a part of a couple of
games -- Pac Land and PacMania. The SID files came from one of the sites
above. I converted them to MIDIs.

The graphics were taken from screenshots of the MultiPac arcade emulator.

Note: Yes, I said *emulator*. If you are interested in playing arcade games
on your PC, then I suggest you go to:

      http://valhalla.ph.tn.tudelft.nl/emul8/arcade.html

I *WILL NOT* provide you with ROM images. Find 'em yourself!

Known Bugs
----------
None. ;)

If you find a particular sound annoying, you can always use the original
sound instead...
