- I - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS regarding Supra Hle v1.0.X :
---------------------------------------------------------------

1) - When I double click on supra.exe file, it loads then nothing appears. If I press Ctrl+Alt+Del, I can see that supra.exe is running in the background. What Shall I do ?

=> This is a know Ultra/Supra Hle bug. As for Ultra Hle, you need to install supra.exe in a folder such as "c:/supra/" . Don't include any space in folder name (such as "c:/supra hle/").

2) - When I double click on supra.exe file I get an error message (not a valid win32 application) ?

=> It somehow depends on the Direct X version you are using. you are most probably using Direct-X 8 or Windows millenium.

3) - I can't use my gamepad anymore and I cannot patch the file again using Ultrahelp (says "file already patched").

=> Use the version 1.0.d. Then apply Ultra Help and configure the gamepad, fix the joystick bug and, if needed, activate the debug mon submenu.

4) - The ESC key doesn't work anymore or doesn't stop emulation.

=> Use Supra Hle version 1.0.d.

5) - When I select thru the load rom menu, I get an error message such as Kernell32 error.

=> Edit your ultra ini file and specify your rom path location. Run Supra Hle and select a rom from the main general user interface. This bug shouldn't happen anymore with Supra Hle version 1.0.d or higher.

6) - I haven't seen much speed increase. Am I doing something wrong ?

=> Most of the users that do report speed increase are not using fast machines, but most likely some PII 233 up to K6-2 400Mhz machines. If you are running a 800Mhz Athlon or PIII, you shouldn't expect (yet) some visible difference. Using THe Supra Hle version 1.0.c (or higher) and its supra ini file might a speed increase on a few games mentioned in the section -III-.

7) Why should I use the supra ini file and may I, somehow, use an ultra ini file ?

=> Supra ini file takes care of the specfic level of MIPS->X86 compiler optimizations required for some games thru Supra Hle. Using a common ultra ini file would result in a loss of speed (in fact, no gain) for some roms. If, for some reasons, you want to use an ultra ini file, make sure you'll rename it (ultra.ini -> supra.ini).

- II - Supra Hle v1.0.d Compatibility list :

All the existing N64 emulation haven't been playtested yet with Supra Hle. Some other games might still be emulated. Feel free to submit any report.

Here are the Fully playable games we've found with Supra Hle v1.0.c :
