vMac Win32 Enhanced

WHAT IS THIS?
-------------
This is an enhanced version of vMac, vMac Win32 Beta 1.  New versions will be released 
frequently if bug reports are made so check back soon.  If vMac crashes, please do the
following:

	o E-Mail me at wjmjr@tiac.net or William234@aol.com
	
	o Include the name of the program you were running, your vMac.cfg file, and
	  what you were doing when vMac crashed.  Also, include any other relevent
	  information, Windows version, CPU, RAM, etc.
	
	o To get the vMac version, in Explorer, find the vMac Icon.  Right Click it,
	  Clicked Properties, then click the Version tab.

WHAT CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE?
----------------------------
	o Many of the fixes from the UNIX/X port are included.

		o CPU bugs
		o RAM bugs

	o Now allows up to 4 megs of RAM.

	o Removed toolbar, replaced with drop down menus.

	o Removed vMac splash screen, replaced with an about box.

	o Beginnings of a multithreaded vMac.

WHAT IS PLANNED FOR THE FUTURE?

The following is a list of potential additions to vMac Win32 Enhanced.

	o Multithreading (More of it)
	
	o Optional DirectX Support (DX 3)
	
	o MMX


WILL SYSTEM 7 FINALLY RUN?
--------------------------
Not yet.

ARE THERE ANY KNOWN BUGS?
-------------------------
	o In the Insert Disk window, if you double click the filename, it will 
  	  usually freeze or crash.

	o Occasionally, vMac will exception fault if running the background.

	o I have not successfully been able to boot off of a disk image larger 
	  then 1.4 Meg.

WHAT SHOULD I KEEP IN MIND?
---------------------------

THIS SOFTWARE IS EXTREMELY BETA.  IT MAY CRASH.  IF IT SCREWS UP YOUR SYSTEM, THATS
YOUR PROBLEM, NOT MINE, OR ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH VMAC.
