Notes:

This copy of Paul & Kurts' Cinematronics
Emulator has been modified to work only
with the game Star Castle. People interested
in obtaining it should be directed to the
following URL:
http://www.oakland.edu/~phkahler/

In order to use this software, you must obtain
copies of the 4 Star Castle rom image files.
These should be placed in the "roms" subdirectory
and named: starcast.7t starcast.7p starcast.7u
           and starcast.7r
NOTE: The data contained in these files is copyrighted
and should not be given to people who do not own
a set of original rom chips for Star Castle.
However, you will likely be able to find them on
the internet :-)

CONTROLS:
=========
INSERT - insert coin
   1   - 1 player start
   2   - 2 player start
   A   - Rotate Left
   S   - Rotate Right
   G   - Thrust
   H   - Fire

Processor: This software should run on most Pentium
PCs. We haven't determined the minimum clock speed,
but it should run on anything at or over 100Mhz.
A fast 486 might do the job as well.

Color: For best color, you should be using
a 15bit (32768 color) color mode or better. However,
it will run fine in 256 or 16 colors.

Sound: The sounds provided are NOT samples of the
original Star Castle sounds. They were synthesized
completely form scratch using GoldWave. Sounds are
currently only able to play one at a time. For this
reason, frequent sounds (like lasers) have been
disabled so the other sounds are not constantly
interupted.

=============================
Planned enhancements include:

Ability to run the other 13 Cinematronics games including:
 Ripoff, Tail Gunner, Space War, and more.

Improved sound support:
* Multiple sounds at once
* Real samples from the real games
* Special nonsampled sounds like droning background
   sounds
